Ashley Casarez

Ashley is from Tucson, AZ. She received her BA from The University of Arizona in Mexican American Studies. Now, as a graduate student at UC San Diego in the Latin American Studies program, she examines how the community cultural wealth framework supports Latinx and Chicanx students navigate their cultural capital in educational spaces.
