Eduardo Charvel

Eduardo Charvel is a Ph.D. student in the Bioinformatics and Systems Biology program. He obtained his B.Sc. in Evolutionary Biology at San Diego State University and is interested in researching novel algorithms that classify marine taxa through environmental DNA samples. In the future Eduardo hopes to keep creating bioinformatic methods and tools that allow conservation scientists and evolutionary biologists to analyze genomic data and preserve genetic diversity. On his free time, Eduardo likes to find treasures at the swap meet and build model robots.
