Lizzy Coda
I am a PhD student in the mathematics department on the statistics specialization track. I grew up in Los Angeles and completed my undergraduate degree in applied mathematics and physics at UC Berkeley in 2020. Before beginning graduate school at UCSD, I was a data scientist at Pacific Northwest National Lab in Seattle, where I worked on applying deep learning to various scientific problems. At UCSD, I hope to conduct research at the intersection of math, statistics, and data science. In my free time, I enjoy running, arts and crafts, and spending time with my friends and family.
