Profile
Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering
I am a fourth-year Ph.D. student in Chemical Engineering at UC San Diego. My research focuses on developing new strategies to treat autoimmune diseases that treat underlying disease mechanisms. I hope that this research will generate novel therapeutics to significantly improve patient outcomes and improve the quality of life of patients that suffer from autoimmune diseases. In addition, during my time in the research program and beyond, I hope to mentor younger scientists to become effective thinkers and communicators. I'm grateful for the funding that has made my research possible, and thankful to the ARCS foundation for providing me with a generous fellowship.
