Gabi Huff

OAR² Graduate Intern, School of Social Sciences

Gabi is a fourth year doctoral student in the anthropology department. She received a B.S. in General Psychology from Brigham Young University - Idaho and an M.A. in Sociocultural Anthropology from Northern Arizona University. Approaching care as a set of practices, her dissertation research explores the factors shaping peer support on contemporary college campuses, as well as what peer-led care produces and/or enables for peer supporters and students.

When she is not reading feminist theories of care or critiques of capitalism, you can find her and her partner at a hardcore show or at one of the many farmers markets in the San Diego area.
Gabi has an extensive collection of eccentric earrings that she loves to wear. Peep the pair in her bio photo!
