Garrett Musil

Garrett is originally from Agua Dulce, CA, a small town north of San Diego. Garrett originally planned his life around studying Computer Science; he practiced in high school and got through 2 years as a Computer Science major before changing to Chemistry. He, however, wanted to try something else. During his initial studies, he was recommended to take one Chemistry course, and he loved it! While simple techniques were employed, he enjoyed the act of not only asking important questions, but the ability to find them! 

From there, he changed his major to Chemistry and transferred to UCSD. After completing his bachelors, he continued his studies by pursuing his Ph.D. at UCSD under the guidance of Professor Stauber, working on functionalized supramolecular cages for biological applications.
