Eva Loesser
A native San Diegan, Eva attended Brown University for her undergraduate education, where she graduated with a degree in mathematics. While at Brown, she was a teaching assistant for real analysis and multivariable calculus. She also volunteered teaching sex education at a local middle school. She is now pursuing a PhD in mathematics and is curious about probability, analysis, and dynamical systems. Prior to coming to UCSD, Eva did undergraduate research in decentralized stochastic control of robotic swarm density. Eva enjoys spending time outside, especially in the ocean, and is an avid reader. She enjoys spending time with her fiancé, Vaki Nikitopoulos, and her cat, Poly, cooking, hiking, and watching One Piece.
