Graduate Triton Weeks of Welcome 2026

The Division of Graduate Education and Postdoctoral Affairs (GEPA) and the Graduate and Professional Student Association (GPSA) plan a series of annual events for new graduate students to introduce you to the UC San Diego campus community. Information will be emailed to new students and posted here as it becomes available.  Upcoming Grad Welcome Events

 Instructional Assistant (IA) Symposium 

Who is this for? All Instructional Assistants and those who support them are welcome! Instructional Assistant, or IA, is an umbrella term that includes teaching assistants, instructional apprentices, readers, and tutors

2026 Common Read 

An opportunity for Tritons to be inspired, to spark curiosity, and to bring us together. Let's celebrate the strength and diversity of our Triton community.

TWOW 2026 marks the third annual Common Read at UC San Diego. The UC San Diego Common Read program identifies a book for new first-year, transfer and graduate students to engage in a shared experience as the newest members of our Triton community.

Triton Weeks of Welcome 

Triton Weeks of Welcome (TWOW) ia a campus-wide series of introductory activities, special programs, and signature events. Held at the start of fall quarter each year, all students are welcome to participate. For more information, please visit the TWOW website.
