Graduate Triton Weeks of Welcome 2025

The Division of Graduate Education and Postdoctoral Affairs and the Graduate and Professional Student Association (GPSA) are planning a series of events for new graduate students to introduce you to the UC San Diego campus community. Information will be emailed to new students and posted online as it becomes available.

 Instructional Assistant (IA) Symposium 

Who is this for? All Instructional Assistants and those who support them are welcome! Instructional Assistant, or IA, is an umbrella term that includes teaching assistants, instructional apprentices, readers, and tutors.

Join us on Zoom for the Teaching & Learning Commons' annual IA Teaching Symposium, featuring keynote panels with experienced IAs, interactive workshops with strategies to engage students, and access to an asynchronous library of concise and just-in-time videos and online resources.

An opportunity for Tritons to be inspired, to spark curiosity, and to bring us together. Let's celebrate the strength and diversity of our Triton community.

TWOW 2025 marks the second annual Common Read at UC San Diego. The UC San Diego Common Read program identifies a book for new first-year, transfer and graduate students to engage in a shared experience as the newest members of our Triton community.
