Graduate applicants are required to submit GRE scores for most departments. Some programs require additional tests or other alternatives.
Check your department to determine which tests are required.
Most departments require GRE scores. Applicants are advised to take the GRE in the fall prior to the fall term for which admission is sought. Self-reported scores are required for most application submissions.
When ordering your GRE score reports, use UCSD's institution code 4836. The department codes are not necessary. GRE score reports are typically received electronically within 5-7 business days from the order date.
