Melissa Burney
Melissa has had a longstanding interest in Parkinson's disease. After realizing a desire to be involved in direct patient care, she decided to pursue a career as a physician assistant and attended the Duke University Physician Assistant Program. Melissa is now working as a Neurology PA in San Diego County, where she primarily treats patients with Parkinson's disease and other movement disorders. She is grateful to be able to apply her background in Parkinson's research to help make a difference in the lives of her patients.
