GEM Fellows Home Page

The National GEM Consortium's mission is to enhance the value of the nation’s human capital by increasing the participation of primarily underrepresented groups at the master’s and doctoral levels in engineering and science. UC San Diego partners with GEM in:

1- welcoming any GEM Fellows considering graduate school in one our STEM master's or doctoral programs.

2- promoting the GEM Fellowship with UC San Diego undergraduates interested in pursuing graduate school in STEM.

Throughout the years UC San Diego has been the home of more than 50 GEM fellows that have successfully graduated from Master's and Doctoral programs.

For questions about the GEM fellowship please contact Edgar Beas (eabeas@ucsd.edu).
