Cognitive Science

After completing my Cognitive Science PhD in 2020 under Bradley Voytek, I joined Jakob Macke's group at the Machine Learning Excellence Cluster in Tuebingen, Germany, as a Marie-Curie Postdoctoral Fellow. There, I work on simulation-based inference and other machine learning tools, in addition to mechanistic models of neural circuits, to better connect neurobiology with brain dynamics and cognition. More broadly, I'm interested in model-discovery for dynamical systems using both parametric and non-parametric approaches. My overall goal is to integrate our knowledge in neuroscience and machine learning to better understand the human brain and mind, and to bring practical solutions for our everyday problems.
