Sara is a true California girl: after growing up in Los Angeles, she received a B.A. in history from UC Santa Barbara where she was a student worker in the Graduate Division. After graduating, she continued her work in Graduate Education Administration at UC San Diego, first at GPS, and  then making the move to the Graduate Division in 2005.
Sara loved the show “Lost” so much, that her German Shepherd is named “Jack Shepherd.”
