NRSA Progress Reports

Please note: As of April 2013, NIH F31 fellowship progress reports must be submitted electronically through eRA Commons, using the RPPR form. Paper 416-9 forms are no longer accepted.

NRSA Fellows must submit a progress report detailing their activities every year.

The RPPR is filled out in the RPPR tab in eRA Commons

Instructions for completing the RPPR are available at the NIH's RPPR page. This page also has a recording of a very helpful webinar that demonstrates how to complete the RPPR. Students are strongly encouraged to refer to these resources.

Notes for completing the RPPR:

  • Select Michelle Monroy as the Signing Official and Kit J. Pogliano Administrative Official.
  • Be sure to save the changes to each page before moving on to the next tab.
  • For F series fellowships, the Responsible Conduct of Research document is required. Do not select “Nothing to Report” for this item.

If you are having trouble completing the RPPR, please email the Graduate Fellowship Advisor. Please include screen shots of the relevant RPPR page(s) with your question(s).

Please route the completed RPPR to the Signing Official no later than 10 calendar days before the report due date.

Please Note: The Graduate Division cannot assume responsibility for errors in the applicant's submission. We will do our best to review the format of your proposal; however final responsibility for format, content, and completeness rests with the applicant.
